Media Information and Research Hub (MIRH) project has launched on May 12, 2022, at the Best Western pearl hotel, Addis Ababa. MIRH is a digital resource center that provides information on various issues of relevance to Ethiopian media. With the aim of creating an open digital resource center for Ethiopian Media and its development endeavors and thereby helping the efforts made to transform the current media landscape, MIRH is committed to succinctly helping those who are interested to know about Ethiopian Media by providing updates constantly. MIRH targets journalists, researchers, communicators, civil societies, journalism associations, and other local and international organizations.
MIRH an ongoing project is currently led and implemented by Ethiopian National Media Support (ENMS). Legal documents, Media education tools, Ethiopian media profiles, Research outputs, Media expertise profiles, training opportunities, and other resources are available in English and Amharic. The project is financially supported by International Media Support (IMS)-Fojo Media Institute. We work together with five key local media stakeholders who are also advisory board members of the project.
