Project summary

Ethiopia National Media Support (ENMS) organized a three-day training on Communicating Health Sciences and Fact-Checking for public media journalists in the country from October 11-13, 2021. The goal of the Communicating Health Sciences and Fact-checking training was to help public media professionals improve their health-related reporting on COVID 19 and fact-checking skills.

The training was conducted in collaboration with the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC), Haq Check, and other partners. ENMS has closely worked with partners in identifying both key trainers and selecting 30 public media professional trainees from Public media across all regions in Ethiopia with inclusive criteria including gender in close consultation with EBC and UNESCO.
